"You're searching in internet marketing from the different group of presumptions -- that something dubious happened," states Robert Wittman, an old senior investigator for that FBI. "You aren't searching to prove the idea that they fell in, you're searching to prove a homicide." Wood's dying was ruled accidental, but on November. 17, days prior to the 30th anniversary from the incident along with a CBS News special featuring bombshell accusations by boat captain Dennis Davern, the La County Sheriff's Department reopened the situation, stating "substantial" new information. Criminal experts say the next phase may be to reclassify the situation like a homicide analysis. "It's a mind-group of 'this person died as a result of another,' " states Mark Fuhrman, the first kind LAPD detective who looked into the Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman killings. "Which means there's somebody available who triggered this individual's dying." Wittman states new forensic tools using infrared lights could uncover evidence like bloodstains. But forensic pathologist Michael Baden cautions that "it might be very difficult to find anything new on the boat" which has likely been repainted and refurbished. Simultaneously, Sheriff's Lt. John Corina, lead detective around the situation, might aim to interview Wagner, 81, and Master, 68, though neither is recognized as a suspect. THR revealed November. 18 that Walken has hired attorney Mathew Rosengart, an old federal district attorney. Wagner hasn't indicated whether he'll be symbolized by counsel. PHOTOS: Hollywood's Greatest Deaths and Surprises In a press conference, Corina rejected to express whether Wood's body, hidden in Westwood Memorial Village Park, could be exhumed. Corina wouldn't not address incendiary claims produced by Davern, who states he formerly lied for Wagner and today claims Wagner accounts for Wood's dying (he alleges Wagner limited the search effort after Wood went missing).
