Frances Bay dies at 92

Frances Bay, who tussled with Jerry Seinfeld over some marble rye and performed Adam Sandler's grandmother in "Happy Gilmore" throughout work that started within the nineteen thirties, has died. She was 92.Bay died Thursday in a La area hospital after being identified with pneumonia.We have spent like a radio actress before World war 2, Bay married and grew to become a housewife. She came back to acting within the seventies, and her career required off. Bay performed Fonzie's Grandmother Nussbaum on "Happy Days" and kindly older ladies in shows including "The Jeffersons," ''The Dukes of Hazzard" and "Who's the Boss?"The Canadian-born actress also was cast by director David Lynch in a number of films, including "Blue Velvet" and "Wild in mind."Fans of "Seinfeld" know her because the tough lady who fought against using the show's star during the last loaves of bread.You will find no immediate children.
